Jean in Manitoba Towns

My good friend and my fine art photographs curator Jean Webster's concept of going through little towns and create a few different look on an afternoon roadtrip. I love roadtrips and I eagerly said yes when she introduced this concept with me. The one thing that is definitely a challenge regarding locations I haven't even heard of is to prepare for the lighting scenarios I will face. Its much easier doing my on location sessions within Winnipeg because I know a lot of places that I can use for certain concepts at specific time of day.

This was even more of a challenge because it was raining when we left the city. She was all cool with it if we don't get any photos at all but thank mother nature that it cleared up when we reached our first location.

Jocelyn

Jocelyn is one of Winnipeg's hottest women being crowned Ms. Sunshine Girl in Winnipeg. That is not an easy title to get since Winnipeg is literally graced with LOTS of gorgeous and hot women. Congratulations Jocelyn...

A support engineer for our POS system came to Winnipeg to install some more POS systems and he just kept going on and on that Winnipeg is full of hot women. This guy travels all over North America and for sure he has his share of appreciating women and for him to insist that Winnipeg has the most gorgeous women per capita... I will just have to take his word for it.

Jocelyn is a bikini model and for good reasons that she looks HOT on these little outfits. I never had done any bikini type shoots and any really revealing types of photography, well except Maternity sessions. This time around I conceptualized a shoot indoors and a tribute to the Marilyn Monroe "rolling in the bed sheets" shoot. This time WAY HOTTER.

Lindsey Hayes - 3rd session

I love working with my key models because I know they can deliver frame after frame. I've had a couple of sessions with Lindsey before and they all went out so smoothly but this 3rd set was a slight challenge. It is not an excuse to cancel a session because of personal reasons, may it be that you are tired, depressed or simply not in the mood. The reality of the fashion industry and the modeling world is that you can easily be replaced, a strong work ethic is key to be on top or to strive along in this cut throat world of fashion.

Lindsey is one of my top models I am working with, she is consistent and always ready. Despite our slow start she HEATED up quite nicely. Proving that Lindsey Hayes is a professional and nothing gets in the way in delivering amazing photographs.
