A Glimpse of Philippines - Fine Art Images

I spent 2 days in Manila/Makati to process some important papers in the Canadian Embassy... and I would like to thank my cousin in law Ced Tan for such amazing accommodations. My cousin Red Dator and her husband Cedrick met me at the airport and from there they took care of me for the next 2 days.

We went to Tagaytay with the whole Dator family based in Metro Manila to eat Bulalo(A Filipino Delicacy)... along the way I did their family portrait and I did some fine art images of the places we visited.

Here's a glimpse of the Philippines... in my 2 days stay in Luzon.

Snow Fall Nov 21 2010

Its not unusual to snow in Winnipeg... we are after all also known as "WinterPEG"... but this early in November and with this much snow can be a sign of a long winter ahead. I grabbed my Olympus E520 with my Sigma 50-500mm f4-6.3 lens to document this day.

Cheska's Oct 2009 photo shoot - Blue Jazz

This is a session I had with my wife back in Oct 2009, we just got engaged back then. My friends decided to go to Blue Jazz, one of the upcoming resorts in the Island of Samal. This was not meant to be an actual portrait/glamour session but I can't resist my gorgeous wife... I just have to do some photos of her.

Blue Jazz.... hmmmm... to cut it short and not to be rude... I would not be going back there. The resort is just not worth the price they are charging for their cottages and food.

Cheska's Feb 2010 photo shoots - Jack's Ridge

These are just some portraits I did for my wife back in February 2010. We went to one of our favorite restaurants in Davao City, Jacks Ridge to do some portraits. She wasn't fully prepared for it because the initial plan was just to eat lunch there. I didn't even bring my serious gear... just my Panasonic L1 and the Zuiko 50mm f2 macro and Sigma EX 30mm f1.4 lenses.
