Jana - 2011 Summer Session

Jana is one of the first models I've worked with since 2009. She has grown in her career as a model quite well in the last 2 yrs. She is still a student yet she represents and models a Filipino street apparel with another one of my earlier models Leanne T.

Jana might not be the typical 5'7" model that agencies looks for but in Jana's success it shows it not all about that at all. Jana is a very fun model to work with, I've seen her grew up as we did multiple session in 2009-2010 until she started booking fashion projects on her own. A good positive attitude, fun and high respect for other people counts a lot in Jana's success.

Thanks Jana for a revisit to the fun sessions we use to do a couple years back....all the best.

Chelsea Caroline - Summer Fashion Session 1 - 2011

This is my second session with the gorgeous Chelsea Caroline. Such an honor to be working with her on fashion sessions before she leaves Winnipeg. Its sad but at the same time I am very happy for her, its a big move for both her and Jimmy.

As always Chelsea came prepared and just rocked the session frame after frame. These albums might be long overdue but certainly worth posting. I've been so busy over the last half of 2011 and early 2012 with various projects and personal things.

THANKS CHELSEA ...... till next session.

Kaylee Gauthier - 2011 Fall Session

I always love working with Kaylee. She always has lots of fun stories to share and she makes an hour long session go by so quick. This is my favorite session with her, she came prepared and just frame after frame she nailed each pose. She is relatively new in modeling compared to other models I work with but she is determined to develop. It shows on each session we get to work together, this is her strongest album yet.

Thanks Kaylee for such an amazing session, looking forward to our winter fashion series.

Ann - 2011 Spring Fashion Session

A revised spring fashion shoot. Well, Winnipeg weather can be very unpredictable and it gets in the way of outdoor sessions. Ann and I already postponed this shoot for a few weeks waiting for a warmer day. 0/-1 degrees is a treat for us Winnipeggers so we decided to head out for a session today. It was still too cold out... so we went in one of downtown's most challenging locations to photograph.."the tunnels". Its more commonly known as the Winnipeg Square..this is one of the worst lighting challenges for photography. Mixed lighting...and really dark... so high ISO and tricky white balance adjustments. I did a shoot last week with Lindsey and used the same location...It was not that hard the second time around.

I worked with the Sigma f1.4 twins, the 30mm and the 50mm... this gives me a good working range to counteract the dark location. The Olympus E3 was also very efficient in these condition.

THANKS ANN FOR SUCH AN AMAZING SESSION...

Ann is always such an amazing model to work with and on this session she was downright amazing. She not only rocked the shoot...she did it effortlessly.
